What is NICCM?

NICCM stands for the National Institute of Child Care Management.  NICCM was established in 1994 to enhance the effectiveness of childcare administrators through management and child development education.  NICCM was the first national organization to see a need to develop a NAC - National Administrator's Credential.  Our Mission is to provide Institute level training and mentoring support to early education business professionals.  While colleges and universities can provide learning in a "school" environment, an institute can provide secondary learning that is provided by specialists in the field who have successfully worked in the area in which they are providing the training.  Most professionals seek for this type of interactive training that takes a the learning environment regionally and can lead to appropriate credentials.  Furthermore, it is a proven fact that credentialed professionals can command higher salaries. 

The National Institute of Child Care Management is lead by its Executive director Bradley Smith.

The Executive Director, Bradley Smith and the Institute's Founder, Dora Fowler, MBA, are recognized as having already made a difference in the field of child care and child care management through their nationwide involvement in training and education programs which directly impact the quality of care offered to children. 

HandPrint Products

HandPrint Products  was formed by Bradley Smith to handle his growing line of products that had been created as a support Director's and Teachers in the Early Childhood Education field. Currently HandPrint Products has a child care training video(DVD) series consisting of 50 titles, a policy and procedure system consisting of 7 manuals, books and other products including his top selling “101 Learning and Transition Activities” book.

HandPrint Purchasing Coop

The HandPrint Purchasing Cooperative was formed in 1998 to create purchasing power among centers in the early education industry.  The current products availble include the Mahar manufacturing   line of early education furniture as well as some consumable items such as diaper changing gloves.  The HandPrint Purchasing Coop currently does not require an annual membership fee and provides an opportunity to purchase needed items below retail prices.  We are constantly looking for ways to save you money.  Contact Us  for a quote or for more information and begin saving money immediately! 

Consulting Services
