NICCM stands for the National Institute of Child Care Management. NICCM was established in 1994 to enhance the effectiveness of childcare administrators through management and child development education. NICCM was the first national organization to see a need to develop a NAC - National Administrator's Credential. Our Mission is to provide Institute level training and mentoring support to early education business professionals. While colleges and universities can provide learning in a "school" environment, an institute can provide secondary learning that is provided by specialists in the field who have successfully worked in the area in which they are providing the training. Most professionals seek for this type of interactive training that takes the learning environment regionally and can lead to appropriate credentials. Furthermore, it is a proven fact that credentialed professionals can command higher salaries.
The National Institute of Child Care Management is lead by its Executive director Bradley Smith.
The Executive Director, Bradley Smith and the Institute's Founder, Dora Fowler, MBA, are recognized as having already made a difference in the field of child care and child care management through their nationwide involvement in training and education programs which directly impact the quality of care offered to children.
